I received my influenter Beauty Blogger VoxBox and I've had some time to reveiw the products, so it's time to reveal what I received & what I think of everything!!!
So, here's what was in my box, I was very pleased!! There was a ton of great items!!!
First up, Bath & Body Works candle (sample size) these are the 3 wick candles in the store. The scent I received was Black Pepper Begamot. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the scent, I found it overly spicy. I did however like the candle itself. It burned nicely & emitted the scent very naturally into the room, it wasn't overpowering or too light.
Next up, Vitabath body mist in Ivy & Lily. I LOVED THIS STUFF!!! I wasn't really sure what "Ivy" was suppossed to smell like, but this scent was just perfect!! This would be a perfect layering scent with your favorite perfume or a great scent to wear alone. It had a nice clean scent that lasted all day and wasn't overpowering.
Goody Spin Pins. These were kind of a disappointment for me, don't take that the wrong way, they worked great on my daughter & are an AWESOME idea. However, on my thick hair, I would need at least 4 of this sized pin to hold my hair. Maybe they come in larger sizes that would work better for my thick hair, but I haven't been out and about to check into that yet. My daughter however has normal hair, not too thick, not too thin and it's down to her hiney. So she has a lot of hair. This held her hair in a nice bun all day long. Did I mention she's 6!?!?! If this can hold a 6 year old hair all day long, without pulling, tugging or falling out on the playground, then I'm pretty sure they can handle whatever you are going to do in a day all the while being totally comfortable.
Okay, I'm NOT a false eyelash wearer so this one was a little tough for me to reveiw. The Kiss Ever Pro Lashes were quite a bit longer than I would wear, but I'm assuming they could be cut down to suit my preference. I did however think they looked extremely natural and not overly "fakey" like most falsh lashes look to me. The glue seemed like it held pretty well, but was difficult to remove. Because I don't wear false eyelashes, I don't know if this is normal or not. But I did like the included application tool, so that I didn't get lash glue all over my good tweezers.
Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves hair cream. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Worked wonders on my curls, smelled great, didn't leave my hair greasy or crinkly like lots of other curl creams. The scent was nice, but not overbearing. And it kept my curls nice and bouncy all day long. They didn't get out of control or frizzy.
EBoost daily health booster. Now that I know this doesn't taste bad, I will definitley be buying more to try over time. They day I used it, I did feel like I had more energy to keep up with my four kids, but I'd like to see results after say a week or two.
NYC Individual Eyes. I received the kit for brown eyes & I have blue eyes, so as far as being able to tell how the accentuated my eyes, I can't really say. However, I was very happy with the coverage and wear of this eyeshadow and I absolutely LOVED having the primer & highlighter right in the kit!! It makes getting ready on the go or traveling much lighter with only one compact to carry for my eyes.
